Jessica's interest for TV and film began at a young, at an impressionable age. She began her career with a modeling career. An Australian casting director sought out models and invited models to audition. She booked the role of "Kiki" from the film Lightning Point/Alien surf Girls. Since then, she's had minor roles in Peter Pan and Aquamarine. Roman Empire was a Netflix original show in which she was the lead character Cleopatra. The actress also starred in the feature film Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales, an iconic cult film. The Outpost In 2018, Jessica landed the worldwide search for the lead character, 'Talon' from The Outpost. Producers were given a sample tape of her acting and another tape where she did MMA. In response to a question about whether she's competent to perform swordfighting, she promptly sent the producers a short video. After having read the script Jessica knew that the role will require training in weapons and she recorded her first session in a class with a trained professional. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt crew were astonished by how she performed in the initial lesson. The Outpost is her first significant role in the US since her prior movies were in Australia. Jessica's abilities in mixed martial, the horse and weaponry as well as her capacity to perform stunts, allow her to portray an imposing female character. In Australia she learned muay Thai along with boxing. Jake Stormoen was working on his Season 4 set when he encountered a dog that was wandering around. The dog was later discovered to be a part of an entire litter of puppies, who had taken housing in the sets. Jessica accepted two of the puppies.
